Sony Aibo Simulator is a legged robot simulator for the Sony Aibo robot. It was developed with Cyberbotics' proprietary technology for Sony Digital Creature Lab, to design and test behaviors for Aibo. A soccer game system has been implemented, allowing the Aibo to track a colored ball with its onboard color camera. Resulting controllers could be transfered to a real Aibo. |
Cyberminotaur is a programming tutorial for young students (aged 12-18). It was developed for the Swiss Federal Institute of Technoloy (EPFL) computer science department. Using popup menus, the student can build up a short program, including basic instructions like "turn left", "go forward" and possibly sub-programs. The aim is to drive the robot out of a maze. Once the simulation works, the program can be transfered into a Lego Mindstorms robot roaming a real Lego Maze, and, as soon as the real maze is the same as the virtual one, the real robot will find the exit.

Stick Pulling Experiment is a research experiment in collective robotics developed by Alcherio Martinoli and Auke Jan Ijspeert. A number of Khepera robots equipped with grippers have to collaborate to extract sticks from the floor. When a robot finds a stick, it grabs it and pulls it as much as it can. However, the stick is so long that a single robot cannot pull it out without help. Hence a second robot will come and help, taking the stick lower, grasping it and pulling it finally out of the hole. A more complete description is available here.

Robota Simulator is a simulator using Cyberbotics's proprietary technology for the Robota doll robot, developed by Aude Billard. The Robota dolls are a family of mini humanoid robots. They are educational toys. They can engage in complex interaction with humans, involving speech, vision and body imitation. The Robota dolls exist since 1997. New prototypes are in constant development.

Pokebo is a online game developed by Gollian Interactive with Cyberbotics's proprietary technology where players can evolve characters and transfer the resulting parameters into real toys. A number of games were implemented, including a series of multi-players races in a post-apocalyptic world. This development include a world server and a fullscreen game client. Players can chat with each other through chat bubbles.
